The deep gorge: Thick rock strata, great ribs and heavy abutments carry bridges at different heights. The inhabited descent remains visible between them.
Working together: Specialists prepare supports, align assemblies and guide their movement. Aedrin takes on one adjustment while other crews continue their work.
Sheltered homes: Where the rock gives room, squares, doorways and galleries gather daily life: provisions, repairs, shared meals and conversation.
