The chronology of the living archive
The Great
Reckoning.
Time does not pass. It returns under another name.
Every recorded moment is held inside four nested cycles, then fixed to one of seven days. Turn the rings to read a moment as the archive reads it.

How the count moves
Five measures. One return.
The archive moves from the vast and ancestral to the immediate. Each smaller measure completes before the next one turns.
- 01Runic
One Elder Futhark rune holds eight planetary cycles.
26,208 days - 02Planetary
Eight planets govern the passages within each rune.
3,276 days each - 03Elemental
Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Air turn in order.
546 days each - 04Arcane
Every elemental cycle passes through all seventy-eight cards.
7 days each - 05Day
The finest public unit in the Reckoning.
I through VII
24 RUNES complete one Great Wheel: 628,992 days, or approximately 1,722 solar years.
The first surviving mark
Before the count,
there was the Binding.
The oldest usable coordinate does not name a date. It names an absence: an event so ancient that every surviving calendar begins in its shadow.
